Richa Chadha recently filed a defamation suit against Payal Ghosh after she dragged her name into the sexual harassment matter with Anaurag Kashyap. Chadha also filed a complaint with the National Commission for Women and has been awaiting a response from the NCW chief Rekha Sharma. Failing to receive a response, the actress took to Twitter and tagged Sharma seeking details of her complaint.
On Thursday, Richa shared pictures of Payal Ghosh posing with Rekha Sharma and wrote, "Saw these pictures @sharmarekha ma’am.I still haven’t heard back from @NCWIndia reg my complaint (dated 22/9/20)filed against Ms.Ghosh, for falsely dragging my name in her case against a director. Basis your own tweets on the matter, I believe my complaint was filed BEFORE hers."

On Friday evening, Richa retweeted her tweet and tagged Sharma to remind her once again. Responding to Richa’s tweet, actress Taapsee Pannu took a dig at the situation. "I think you should fly to Delhi soon to make yourself visible and audible," she wrote.
Responding to Taapsee, Richa said that had she known that a photo-op was required with the complaint she would have done it. “If the NCW website mentioned that a photo op was mandatory, along with a written complaint, I’d have done the same. It is after all, the ‘National’ commission for women. PFA screenshot of the acknowledgment of my complaint , once again ma’am @sharmarekha @NCWIndia,” she wrote sharing a screenshot of her written complaint.
