When the pandemic hit the country in March, theatres were forced to shut down. This led to several filmmakers deciding to release their films on OTT platforms skipping the theatrical release and hence giving a boost to digital platforms. Actress Kirti Kulhari, who made her presence felt on digital platforms long before the pandemic made it popular, feels that a lot of people in the Hindi film industry are now warming up towards the idea of going digital.
Talking to a leading daily, Kirti said that OTT has changed the face of entertainment in India. She said that everyone in the industry from top to bottom are reconsidering their choices and their whole career plans. She said that OTT is going to be a big part of everyone's plan in the times to come.
Kirti Kulhari who has been part of web series like Four More Shots Please and Bard of Blood feels that OTT is here to stay and feels that the platform has pushed people out of their comfort zone when it comes to creativity.
