When asked whether his character Guddu tries to emulate that of Kaleen Bhaiyya played Pankaj Tripathi, he agreed to it saying, “Yes, in many ways!” When asked what would be the advice he’d give to his character, he said, “There is somebody who loves you. There’ll always be somebody who loves you. You are not alone.” Speaking of the characters, many have gone onto become household names. This is what he said: Beena Tripathi: “You are stronger than you think you are!” Kaleen Bhaiyya: “Thoda hass lijiye, thoda aur mazak kariye aur apne bete Munna ko hataeiyye! (Laugh a little, joke a little and remove your son Munna).” Guddu Pandit: “I don’t know what to tell Guddu. It’s the most complex character I’ve probably played. Slow down! Munna Bhaiyya: “Thoda lagaam rakhein (Control himself)” The bustling by lanes of Uttar Pradesh's politically charged towns once again add the rustic flavour, full of violence and bloodshed, which keeps the audience in its grip till the end.
