His debut film ‘Irumbu Thirai’ was highly noticed for the overpowering character of the antagonist. In an interview, he said that it became an additional responsibility to create a villainous character with herculean shades. Talking about Abhay’s character he said that he is someone unpredictable and unassuming. His reactions would be just a smile, but there’s more terror lying beneath it. Abhay is also working on another Tamil film titled Idhu Vedalam Sollum Kadhai. Abhay Deol was last seen in the Netflix original film Chopsticks. Apart from that he also made a brief appearance in the 2018 film Zero.
