The much awaited and anticipated collaboration of the four renowned artists representing four different continents and cultures has arrived. DJ Snake, Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion with BLACKPINK’s Lisa are all fiery in their new collaboration track ‘SG’.
The single was dropped on October 22 along with a sultry music video featuring all the four musicians rocking their elements. With Ozuna opening the track in Spanish with good chunk of lines with stunning scenes in the background, followed by the 'Body' musician Megan Thee Stallion’s verse in bling bodysuit with her sexy moves makes the mv slightly more hot. Her rap goes like, "Ayy, he wanna party with a hottie (With a hottie) / He said he like ‘em thick, I got that body-ody-ody (Ah) / I must be who they study ’cause I’m always the subject / Professor Vanessa (Yeah) / Teach you bitches how to keep it, player under pressure."
The background visuals with neon colors give an ‘All Miami’ beach vibes to the songs. Though, the beats and music itself gives off the typical DJ Snake style vibes, Lisa’s heavenly vocals and Megan Thee Stallion’s fire rap with Ozuna’s calming voice, makes ‘SG’ a whole disco groovy package.
Lisa jumps in singing and dancing in the midst of dancers in a shimmery outfit. She sparkles in crop top and high-waisted shorts that accentuates her figure. Lisa’s verse goes like "Baila what you want, dance for you / I’ll sway, sway all night with you./ Baila, come on in, closer to you / Eh-eh, eh-ayy, yeah.”
Later, she croons fhe chorus with Ozuna “Sexy girl (Sexy girl), you know I don’t play / Make you fall in love, one touch and you’ll be saved (Tú sabe’ hacer) with her dance moves on point makes the mv perfect. Lisa has also been credited as one of the songwriters for ‘SG’.
‘SG’, which stands for 'Sexy Girl', the iconic sultry music video is helmed by music video director Colin Tilley, who also worked on visuals for The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s ‘Stay’ and ‘WAP’ by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.
DJ Snake had previously hinted at the collaboration in May when he claimed that he had worked with Lisa on a brand-new song in a series of now-deleted tweets. The single was first hinted by Latin-music superstar Ozuna back in September during the MTV VMAs 2021. Ahead of the release, the EDM artist revealed a sneak peek at the music video, with Meg wearing a shimmering bodysuit and Lisa in bling outfit with matching eye makeup.
This fall, DJ Snake continues to deliver unforgettable live performances across North America. Beyond holding it down with his residency at Zouk in Las Vegas, NV, he appears at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas on October 23, Ozuna Festival in Cancun, Mexico on November 6, Decadence Festival in Denver and Phoenix on December 30, and finally Lights All Night Festival in Dallas, TX to ring in the New Year on December 31
On the other hand, the Thai singer and BLACKPINK member, Lisa made her chart-topping single album debut with ‘Lalisa’ in September this year with the title track of the same name became the sixth most-viewed YouTube music video in the first 24 hours of all time.
Meanwhile, Megan who last collaborated with South Korean juggernaut BTS’s for their Butter remix, has recently announced her upcoming project ‘Something For Thee Hotties: From Thee Archives’, a collection of freestyles and unreleased, archival tracks set to drop on October 29. Megan has also recently revealed her expansion into the world of fried chicken, launching a deal with Popeyes to release a branded hot sauce and merch line.
