The film and TV productions were halted due to the lockdown imposed amid coronavirus outbreak since March 2020. As shootings have resumed now nearly after four months, a sketch comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show will also be back on track soon and the first guest is Sonu Sood.
The actor returned to set and the first thing he did was shave-off the quarantine beard that he had been sporting since the lockdown began. He shared a photo from his vanity van as the two makeup artists were completely covered in PPE kits. The first trailer was unveiled a few days ago as the troupe returned including Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, Simona Chakravarti, Bharti Singh, and Krushna Abhishek. Sonu Sood joined the crew and the first pictures give a glimpse of what can be expected. Archana Puran Singh is back as the judge. This time, no audience will be present. Instead, cardboard cutouts have been placed in the audience section.
