Emmys 2020: Succession, Watchmen and Schitt’s Creek lead the nominations  It's that time of the year to celebrate the best of the shows. The nominations for the 72nd annual Emmy Awards were announced on Tuesday, July 28. Leslie Jones, Laverne Cox, Josh Gad, and Tatiana Maslany made the announcements. This year the second season of HBO’s drama Succession, Watchmen, and last season of Schitt’s Creek have been leading the nominations.
