The young diva also claimed that her father used to physically and mentally torture her which resulted in an emotional knockdown. The actress further said that she was bombarded with constant negative comments and victim-blames that she forgot her own identity. She also said how her voice was compressed just because she was a woman and suffered silently. Throughout her time with her family, Urfi was preached that women are not allowed to open their mouths and only men have that right.
