The first part is titled Pushpa: The Rise that will hit the cinemas on December 25 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. It was earlier scheduled to release on August 13, but couldn’t because the second wave of coronavirus delayed the shoot. This Sukumar directorial will clash with Aamir Singh’s Laal Singh Chaddha. Produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar in association with Muttamsetty Media, the film is all about red sandalwood smuggling. It also marks the Telugu debut of Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil. At the teaser launch this year, director Sukumar said that Allu Arjun has given an amazing performance in Pushpa. Pushpa marks Sukumar and Allu Arjun’s third collaboration after their superhits Arya and Arya 2.
