Meanwhile, it has been learnt that Morena Baccarin, who played Vanessa Carlysle, is yet to be approached for the third installment. In a recent interview on PeopleTV's Couch Surfing show, Baccarin said, "I have no idea. Apparently, they're still writing it. I genuinely don't know. I have not been asked or approached. There's been no conversations yet, so I'm waiting with bated breath." "As big as possible. I mean, he [Reynolds] will always be the lead, but I would love to be right by his side," she further said. In the comics, Vanessa Carlysle was also a mutant named Copycat. But that has not been tackled in the Deadpool movies yet. Though Deadpool 3 wasn't announced in Marvel Phase 4 lineup, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has plans to take it forward in the MCU.
