EXCLUSIVE: Urvashi Rautela calls Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar Real-life heroes With the increasing number of Coronavirus cases in India, the Prime Minister announced a three week nationwide lockdown on March 24. In order to fight the virus, PM Narendra Modi announced the PM-CARE Fund to fight the virus and encouraged people to contribute in whatever way they can. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's PM CARES Fund plans to deal with situations such as the ongoing battle with the Covid-19 pandemic.   Akshay Kumar was among the first Bollywood celebrities to contribute to the PM-CARES Fund. The actor donated a massive amount of Rs. 25 crores. Salman Khan, on the other hand, will be bearing the complete cost of daily wage cine workers and their families. There are nearly 25,000 people who come under this. While talking to Bollywood Hungama, Urvashi Rautela called these celebs heroes. “I find it very inspiring. These people have proved it that they are not only reel roles but are real-life heroes as well. There is no compulsion on donating huge amounts, but one should give whatever they can. People can help out in different ways. For example, I have a foundation that started helping the people in need even before the coronavirus pandemic. It is not necessary that we announce the donation amount in the media or post it on social media. You should help in whatever way you can. But one should definitely help those in need. And whatever the celebrities have been doing and donating, I find it very inspiring and it is a big step.” Apart from Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, several Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Kartik Aaryan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and several others have pledged their contribution towards the PM-CARES Fund.
