Varun Dhawan takes lessons from dad David Dhawan as the latter REVEALS about the hectic shooting schedules during the early days Varun Dhawan takes lessons from dad David Dhawan as the latter REVEALS about the hectic shooting schedules during the early days From the vanity vans to the shooting methods, a lot has changed in the past two decades. As actors from the 80s and 90s confess about the strict and rigorous conditions in which they have shot films, actors today have often expressed their gratitude towards how the film world has changed for better and even thank their seniors for the same. Something similar happened with Varun Dhawan recently when he learnt a few interesting lessons from his father David Dhawan who has been in this industry for a long time. While the filmmaker narrated stories of the hectic shoot schedules they had during the 90s, Varun Dhawan posted on social media about how the comparison with his recent shoot schedule of Street Dancer 3D makes him feel lucky. Varun Dhawan shared a video of David Dhawan narrating tales of the rigorous and hectic shoot schedules that they had during his early days in the film industry. The Gen Y star recently shot for his film Street Dancer 3D and he continued with the schedule despite suffering from fever. While comparing it to the shoot schedules back in the day, Varun felt that he is quite lucky to be born in times where technology and the surroundings are much more conducive towards cinema. Varun posted the video with the caption that read, “My dad’s schedule for his film vs my schedule. Even with fever while I shoot and think today was a hard day on the sets of #sd3. This is only till my dad told me how he used to shoot a double shift going up to nearly 19 or 20 hrs a day sometimes. Those days the unions where not strong enough for technians and films needed to be made in this manner.i want to always be the hardest worker in the room and I still have alot of catching up to do to earn that place in my home. #lovefilms.” In fact, many actresses like Shilpa Shetty and Karisma Kapoor, who have shot in such conditions, agreed with the filmmaker and what he had to say. Coming to Street Dancer 3D, the film will see Varun Dhawan reprising the role of dancer along with Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film, featuring Prabhu Dheva, Nora Fatehi, Sonam Bajwa, Dharmesh, and Shakti Mohan amongst others is slated to release on January 24, 2020.
