She is a cancer survivor, a mother, a wife, a filmmaker and most importantly a very positive human being. Recently, she made news and broke stereotypes after she spoke about her mammography. Chopped off her hair and walked ramp with a shining bald pate. Today, on the account of World Cancer Day she took to Twitter to share a bold yet powerful photo where she displays the scars of her surgery with a lot of pride, inspiring other woman who are fighting cancer, especially breast cancer. She wrote this beautiful message with her pic: Today is my day! Wish you all a happy #worldcancerday with the hope to celebrate it in an embracing way. These scars are my badges of honour. It was tough but this picture was my decision as I want to celebrate not the disease but the spirit with which I endured. @atulkasbekar.” She is filming a movie which will go on the floors on March and she is all pumped up for the same. We too are hoping that it does wonders for her film career. Recently, in an interview she spoke about how she was very nervous about accepting that she wanted to make films.
