And the filmmaker has already moved onto the pre-production work of his next cop film in his universe, Sooryavanshi. With a successful year already, Rohit Shetty was awarded the Entertainment Trendsetter award. Rohit Shetty received Lokmat Maharashtrian Of The Year award! He was honoured as the ‘Entertainment Trendsetter’. He received the award from the Chief Minister of Maharastra, Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena leader, Uddhav Thackeray. On the work front, Rohit Shetty will begin filming Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar as a cop this year. The recce for the film has begun and the filmmaker plans to release it next year.
