Slay or Nay: Vidya Balan in Lajjoo C for TSR TV9 National Film Awards Slay or Nay: Vidya Balan in Lajjoo C for TSR TV9 National Film Awards Vidya Balan - the actress who quashed the male-dominated stereotype of the hero-centric Bollywood with the portrayal of strong-willed characters and carved a niche for herself is always such a delight. Whether it’s giving back to the trolls or exuding an unmissable charm on-screen, Vidya keeps us hooked. Additionally, her sense of style play that has always bordered high on ethnic and traditional has only evolved with time. While her saree wardrobe is entirely steal-worthy, we love how she dabbles into other ethnic style plays as the occasion demands. The TSR TV9 National Film Awards for 2017-18 and 2018-19 saw Vidya Balan opt for a simple but significant vibe - a Lajjoo C ethnic ensemble. Styled by the fashion stylist duo, Pranay Jaitley and Shounak Amonkar, the dark embroidered ensemble featured a floor-length Anarkali kurta and dupatta.
