EXCLUSIVE: “Feels like we are one unit”- Nushrratt Bharuccha on working with Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez in Ram Setu Earlier this month, before Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19 he was shooting for the film Ram Setu along with co-stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez. Akshay had posted a picture of Nushrratt where she was seen posing alongside huge lunch boxes. Akshay also made a light-hearted joke around the picture and Nushrratt pointed out the 'Hera Pheri' done by Kumar. In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Nushrratt spoke about the story behind the picture, “It was actually Akshay sir’s sense of humour. He saw the lunch boxes and asked me to stand there and clicked the picture. It seemed so funny that we posted it.” “The dabbas had lunch for the entire set. At that time we had just finished with lunch and we're going back on set. When I was walking past the dabbas kept there, Akshay sir thought of clicking the picture,” she added.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Nushrratt Bharuccha (@nushrrattbharuccha) This is the first time that Nushrratt will be sharing screen space with Akshay and Jacqueline. Talking about her experience working with them so far, she said, “Amazing experience. What amazing human beings! I don't think I can tell you how happy and blessed I am that I have got them as my co-actors and sharing screen space with them and being on a set with them. We have so much fun that I cannot describe it. It really feels like we are one unit in just three days of shoot. Usually, it takes some time to break the ice, but not here. From the first day, when we took the plane to Ayodhya, from that day we have been a house on fire. All three of us. We play antakshari, ludo, snake and ladder, talk about each other and also have meals together. It is so much fun that I ever feel like going back home from the sets.” The shoot of the film came to a halt when Akshay Kumar tested COVID-19 positive earlier this month. Now, with Maharashtra witnessing a complete lockdown, the shoot of the film has hit the pause button indefinitely.
