“Isn't it supposed to be 'Innocent Until Proven Guilty',” writes Vidya Balan sharing her thoughts on the Sushant Singh Rajput case  Recently actress Lakshmi Manchu gave her opinion on the media trial on Rhea Chakraborty . In a long note, she wrote that people should have faith in the judiciary and also empathised with Rhea and her family for the way they are being treated.  After watching Rhea Chakraborty's interview, Manchu wrote, “I see so many people so silent because the media has made a monster out of a girl. I don’t know the truth and I want to know the truth and I hope the truth will come out in the most honest way. I have complete trust in the judiciary system and all the agencies that are involved in bringing justice to Sushant. But until then can we restrain ourselves from being evil and cruel and lynching of a person and her enture family without knowing the facts”.  @sardesairajdeep @Tweet2Rhea @itsSSR . Wake up my industry friends... stop this lynching. #letthetruthprevail pic.twitter.com/5SCEX8Un8H — Lakshmi Manchu (@LakshmiManchu) August 30, 2020 Responding to the post, actress Vidya Balan lauded Lakshmi Manchu for speaking up and wrote, "God bless you @LakshmiManchu for saying this out loud. It is so unfortunate that the tragic and untimely death of a beloved young star Sushant Singh Rajput has become a media circus. In the same breath, as a woman, my heart breaks at the vilification of Rhea Chakraborty. Isn't it supposed to be 'Innocent Until Proven Guilty', or is it now ‘Guilty Until Proven Innocent’? Let's show some respect for the constitutional rights of a citizen and let the law take its course.” @LakshmiManchu pic.twitter.com/GnjPpsyoaq — vidya balan (@vidya_balan) September 1, 2020 ALSO READ: Following the media trial of Rhea Chakraborty, Taapsee Pannu says to trust the law in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case https://ift.tt/32K0aC1
