Before it was revealed that the case had gone to Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI), Amruta Fadnavis, wife of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis spoke about how Mumbai has become unsafe. This did not sit well with Renuka Shahane who took to Twitter to speak about how Sushant’s has been politicized. “Please don't politicize Sushant's tragic death & use it to badmouth Mumbai & it's people @fadnavis_amruta. Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar recommended the transfer of the case to the Supreme Court. An FIR on grounds of abetment to suicide has been filed by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh against Rhea Chakraborty and her family. More than 40 statements have been recorded by Mumbai Police including that of Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
