Students across India have been requesting the government to postpone the JEE and NEET exams in view of the pandemic. The students have been taking to social media to voice their concern regarding the same. Now, actor Sonu Sood too has tweeted in support of the students and has requested the government to postpone the exams.
Sonu’s tweet read, “It’s my request to (the) government of India, to postpone the #Neet/#JEE exams in the current situation of the country! In the given #COVID19 situation, we should care utmost & not risk the lives of students! #PostponeJEE_NEETinCOVID”

A few days ago, the Supreme Court dismissed a plea for the exams to be postponed. “Career of students cannot be put under jeopardy for long,” the court said. The exams for NEET have been scheduled from September 13, and those for JEE from September 1. Over 24 lakh students will be appearing for these exams.
