The Batman: Colin Farrell reveals his kids aren't stoked about him playing Penguin The Batman starring Robert Pattinson has found its Penguin in Colin Farrell. The news was confirmed by director Matt Reeves earlier this month. A few leaked images from sets reveal the actor is sporting bleached hair. This started speculations that he had changed his look for the film. During an interview on The Ellen Show, Colin Farrell said that it is his look before he hits the makeup chair. “It went purple and then it went piss yellow and then it went whatever the hell that is,” he explained Farrell also revealed that his kids aren’t excited for him to be playing Penguin. "No, they're sick of me being a bad guy," Farrell groaned. "Which, apparently, reading between the lines, leads me to believe that they think I'm okay." Colin Farrell joins the list of the actors who have joined Matt Reeves' The Batman. Paul Dano as the Riddler, John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone, and Zoe Kravitz as Selina "Catwoman" Kyle are also starring in the film. Andy Serkis will play Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred Pennyworth whereas Jayme Lawson has come on board for a mystery role mostly speculated as Batgirl. As per leaked plot details, The Batman will explore the story of his rise in Gotham City as Bruce Wayne investigates unexplained murders. The movie will premiere in theaters on June 25, 2021.
