While he is not a part of the Paani project, the actor decided to help people in his own way. He has taken off to Nashik to help the people in the draught affected areas and posted about it on Instagram. Randeep Hooda took to Instagram to post a video from the Vele village, from Nashik district to talk about the issues. The actor has joined hands with an UK based organization Khalsa Aid which has come forward to help these draught affected areas. The actor addressed the issue of water shortage in social media, in the caption he shared, “There is a major shortage of water all over the country.. in #Maharashtra near #Nashik village #Vele with @khalsaaid_india volunteers trying to do our bit #EveryDropCounts be as prudent as you can @khalsa_aid #SaveWater @narendramodi @amarpreetsingh_ka @ravisinghka.” In the video, Randeep said, “There is great shortage of water, even drinking water! All the wells have dried up. It’s a serious problem here as this area in Maharashtra gets hit by draught every year.
