Kiran Rao makes 10-second-long films for Facebook and Aamir Khan couldn’t be more proud! Kiran Rao makes 10-second-long films for Facebook and Aamir Khan couldn’t be more proud! Kiran Rao is one of the very few female directors who have made movies that are unconventional and hard-hitting. Movies like Talaash, Delhi Belly, and Peepli Live are some of the movies that have really left a mark on the audience. Her work has been acclaimed critically as well. In collaboration with the most popular social networking website, Facebook, Kiran has made two short films that convey strong messages in a span of mere 10 seconds. In the first short film, gender discrimination is rightly pointed out, where a mother hands two glasses of milk filled disproportionately. There’s more milk in the glass handed out to the male child as compared to the female. However, it’s heart-warming to see the brother pouring some more milk in his sister’s glass. As for the second film, it tackles domestic violence where the house help is handing out a phone urging her employer to inform police about the atrocities her husband causes. Aamir Khan took to his social media to share it and captioned the videos as, “Hey guys, Kiran has made some 10sec films. I didn't know it was even possible to tell a story in 10 seconds! She has shown me how. Check them out. Love. a.” Take a look at them.   View this post on Instagram   Hey guys, Kiran has made some 10sec films.
