Considering that she was alleged to be one of Shahid's exes, it was truly an extending-an-olive-branch moment between the former couple. On the other hand, the actor wasn’t a part of the another high profile Bollywood wedding, that of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. In the midst of Kabir Singh promotions, the actor attended a chat show where he spoke about both his exes. Shahid Kapoor spoke about it on the Colors Infinity chat show hosted by Neha Dhupia wherein he maintained that he attended the wedding reception of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. He had earlier too stated that Priyanka had invited him for the Mumbai reception and hence he decided to go for the same. On the other hand, he was trying to recollect about the Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan wedding which happened way back in 2012. The actor recalled that he didn’t attend it because he was probably not invited for it. A lot has been said about the relationship that went sour between Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. However, the two of them have said to have left bygones and bygones and even reunited for a film in 2016, Udta Punjab. Coming to Kabir Singh, the film featured Shahid Kapoor in the role of a self-destructive surgeon and features Kiara Advani in the lead. Being a remake of Arjun Reddy, the film is expected to hit the theatres next week, on June 21.
