"Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and I’ve been able to prolong our stardom" - says Salman Khan "Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and I’ve been able to prolong our stardom" - says Salman Khan The film industry has seen a time when the names of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan were enough for a blockbuster. But, in the last couple of years, the audience has focused more on the story rather than the star. Last year, three anticipated films - Race 3, Thugs Of Hindostan and Zero - failed at the box office. So, is their stardom fading away? Reacting on the same, Salman Khan said, “It will always fade away. And it is a huge task to keep it going for a long time. I think Shah Rukh, Aamir, Akshay we are the only ones who have been able to put it up for such a long time. And we will try our best to keep it going for other few years. I know of superstars jinka phir later on jaake box office collection 8-10 percent aata hai. So that is going to happen to us as well. But I don’t think so it has started yet.” Aamir Khan had earlier said that there will be a time when the box office collections of his films won't be great. When asked whether Salman is also prepared for it as well, he said, "It is a long time for that. I think a few years more, 30-35 years.” On the work front, Salman Khan is looking forward to the release of Bharat, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, which is set to hit the screens on Eid 2019.
