Twitter Banter: Nikhil Dwivedi indulges in a war of words with this man who calls Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt 'convicts'! Nikhil Dwivedi, who has turned producer after dabbling with acting, seems to have stirred up a storm on Twitter. This controversy was not where he defended himself but he came out in support of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt when a social media user accused them of being convicts. Of late, there have many incidents where twitter banters have erupted as major controversies. This time around it all started when one of the verified users of Twitter said that our honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi shouldn’t have acknowledged the greetings of superstars Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt because they are both convicts. For the uninitiated, this was in reference to the ongoing blackbuck case and drink-and-drive case against Salman as well as the TADA case against Sanjay Dutt for illegal possession of arms and ammunition. However, this comment irked their fraternity colleague Nikhil Dwivedi. Nikhil went on to explain the user about the two cases on the same platform. He replied, “Salman Khan has never been convicted. He ws exonerated by higher courts. Almost the same way as was PM Modi. Sanjay Dutt served time. So u obviously dn't believe in reform? &tht a person has a right to start fresh &be absorbed in the society aftr he has duly undergone punishment?” Huh why? https://t.co/WZZZuqPMn8 — Nikhil Dwivedi (@Nikhil_Dwivedi) May 28, 2019 Salman Khan has never been convicted.
