On Thursday, the actor shared a video of himself transforming into a balding old man. In the behind the scenes video, Aamir Khan is seen transforming into an old man with the use of a bald cap, fake white facial hair, and a wig. While it was unknown what the video is for, it is finally revealed that the actor has been appointed as the brand ambassador of PhonePe. Aamir is seen with a thick paunch on his belly while surrounded by a team of makeup artistes helping him with his new look. “Coming Soon...on your phone...,” Aamir wrote. PhonePe is an official co-presenting sponsor for the television broadcast of VIVO IPL 2019. They will be unveiling a series of new TV ads featuring Aamir Khan during this season. On the work front, Aamir Khan recently announced his next project Lal Singh Chaddha which will be an official remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump. “My next film is finalized it is called Lal Singh Chaddha. It is being made by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions together. It will be directed by Advait Chandan. It is an adaptation of Hollywood film Forrest Gump,” he said addressing the media on his birthday. “We have bought the rights from Paramount and I am playing the lead role of Lal Singh,” Aamir said.
