Bollywood celebrities are getting into the festive spirit to enjoy the date to the fullest. Following the annual tradition of flying kite, Akshay Kumar got into the spirit of the festival and got his daughter Nitara involved as well. In a video shared by Akshay Kumar, he seen flying the kite while Nitara is holding the spool. She leaves the spool and says, "I'll help you." He tells her to hold the thread and is teaching her how to fly the kite. The actor captioned the image, "Meet daddy’s little helper ???? Continuing our yearly father-daughter ritual of flying kites soaring high in the sky! #HappyMakarSankranti everyone." On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Dharma Productions’ Kesari as Havaldar Ishar Singh, the leader of the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi along with Parineeti Chopra. Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Dharma Productions, Kesari is based on the famous Battle of Saragarhi which was fought between the Afghan tribesmen and the British Indian army’s Sikh Regiment in September 1897 at Saragarhi. The British Indian contingent comprising 21 Sikh soldiers were attacked by around 10,000 Afghans and is considered one of the greatest battles.
