Shah Rukh Khan discusses his FEARS after Zero's FAILURE at the box office Shah Rukh Khan discusses his FEARS after Zero's FAILURE at the box office Shah Rukh Khan has been having a hard luck at the box office lately. His last movie Zero did not make the cut as a commercially viable film and also got written off by the critics. Moving on, that led him to rethink his film choices and so he pulled himself out of his next project, Saare Jahan Se Accha. SRK was supposed to play Rakesh Sharma, first Indian astronaut to go in space. But Zero's debacle made him cautious and he withdrew from the movie. While we are waiting for him to officially announce his next, SRK spoke about his fears in his recent interview. Shah Rukh Khan said that he is scared of the day when he would be too demotivated to take risks with the roles he chooses and will be trapped doing the same old mundane characters in boring films. He said that he does not want to wake up to a day where he is so tired to experiment that he would be stuck to doing regular films which get wrapped up in 40 days, earn a few bucks, buy a new car and move on to the same old routine. Shah Rukh has tried playing diverse characters in the last few years. He also experimented with directors and different scripts. From playing a dark and intense double role in Fan to getting into the skin of a vertically challenged man in Zero, he tried to do different things but yet commercial success seems to evade him. Shah Rukh Khan's last films: Zero, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Fan and Dilwale flopped at the box office. Only time will tell what Shah Rukh Khan will do next. Stay tuned.
