The film focuses on exposing the country’s faulty education system and shows Hashmi as a smooth operator hero-worshipped by needy students and parents. During the promotions of the film, Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary talked at length about the film with Bollywood Hungama about the film, current trends and dating apps. When asked whether he thinks dating apps are hot or not, Emraan Hashmi said he does not understand the online editing as he came from other generation. He also joked that he is scared for his son. "I don't understand it because I am from another generation. These guys are millennials. These guys get online dating. I don't know. You know there is actually a thing with these dating apps like Tinder, I didn't know about this, I saw in the movie - You know DTF? I didn't know about it and I am sure it is shocking for you also. That is the equation that 'You are down to F'. And from both sides it’s an agreement. Forget about single or dating, it's DTF. It's very simple and that's what it is. It is one night stand but on a dating app. It's as specific as it gets. I am scared for my son," Emraan said. Shreya Dhanwanthary said, "I am sure he (his son) will have a good time." To which, Emraan quipped by saying, "I am sure he is."
