Prolific and successful director Anees Bazmee whose comedies in the past such as Welcome, No Entry and Singh Is Kinng were huge hits, is readying his latest comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 for release. Proud of the end-product Bazmee says, “It’s shaped up into a complete entertainer for the family. My films are always free of vulgarity and double meanings. My leading man Kartik Aaryan also has a very family-oriented image. Kids, grownups, grandfathers, and grandmothers …they all love Kartik. So we have a double responsibility which Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will more than deliver.”
Anees pooh-poohs all comparisons between Bhool Bhulaiyaa and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. “The first Bhool Bhulaiyaa film came 14 years ago. Audiences have moved on since then. Priyadarshan who directed the first film had his own style of storytelling. I have my own style.”
For those comparing Kartik in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 with Akshay Kumar in Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Anees quips, “Wait to see the entire film before comparing the two. Akshay and Kartik are different actors. They both have impeccable comic timing. But their approach and style are incomparable. They are like two master chefs cooking the same dish. The taste and flavour are bound to be completely different.”
Bollywood designer Gauri Khan on Wednesday made her return to social media since her elder son Aryan Khan got bail in drugs case months ago. However, the video she shared on Instagram is about a new alliance of her company Gauri Khan Designs, it surely hints that her family is getting back to normality.
Gauri and the entire Khan family kept a low profile, away from the public scowl ever since Aryan Khan was arrested in the drugs on cruise case in October. The latest video indicates Gauri working on her designs along with her team as the song “The Good Part” plays in the background..

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan chose the day when the Bombay High Court enabled a plea by son Aryan seeking modification and relaxation of some of the bail circumstances involving weekly attendance at Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Mumbai office in the cruise ship drug bust case. The court said that the applicant will have to inform the investigating authority and provide an itinerary before socializing of Mumbai.
Jurassic World Dominion, the sixth entry in the Jurassic Park franchise, which is taking place four years after 2018's Fallen Kingdom, has a new photo out. Director Colin Trevorrow has called the dino-mite sequel a ‘science-thriller’. Jurrasic World Dominion will also mark Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum’s return to the franchise.
Filmmaker and co-writer Colin Trevorrow, who directed 2015's Jurassic World, has said that the beasts have been multiplying and living amongst us and clashing with us. The other Jurassic Park movies pretty much have the same story, but Dominion is set all over the world, through many different environments: wilderness, urban, desert, snow. It's exciting to see these creatures navigate environments that they weren't built to survive in. They grew up in a theme park and now they're here.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Bryce Dallas Howard's Claire Dearing and Chris Pratt's Owen Grady are still attempting to save the big beasts, with the latter rounding up parasaurs in the Sierra Nevadas. As reported by entertainment weekly, sharing a hint, Trevorrow says, "He's not too far from where the dinosaurs got out in the last film. The parasaurs are in danger of being poached. There's a lot of shady types out there who want to get their hands on dinosaurs, so he's working to protect them."
Trevorrow is cagier about where we find Claire. "I don't want to say just yet," he explains. "But she's at a point where she's questioning her methods, and whether she can stay safe and fulfill the responsibility that she has to the other people in her life that care about her."
Jurrasic World Dominion will also see the return of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. The trio will reunite on screen for the first time since Steven Spielberg's adaptation of Michael Crichton's novel Jurassic Park debuted way back in 1993. And these won't be cameo appearances like the one Goldblum made in Fallen Kingdom."They have equal screen time to Chris and Bryce," Trevorrow reveals of the scientist trio. "They're major characters from start to finish."
The director describes Dominion as more of a "science thriller" than the horror-flavored, J.A. Bayona-directed Fallen Kingdom, and strongly hints that the movie's big bad will be Campbell Scott's Lewis Dodgson.
Jurassic World Dominion is set to be released in theaters on June 10, 2022.
Ankita Lokhande married her longtime boyfriend Vicky Jain at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on Tuesday, December 14. The couple's wedding celebrations spanned three days and included six spectacular functions. On Sunday, Ankita and Vicky hosted mehendi and engagement ceremonies, on Monday, there were haldi and sangeet ceremonies, and on Tuesday, the couple had their wedding and reception festivities.
Ankita has gone viral on social media after a video of her dancing her heart out to the dhol music while enjoying the cuisine went viral. Ankita's friend and TV star Raj Singh Arora uploaded the footage on his Instagram Stories. In the video, he can be heard saying, "Bride Ho Toh Iski Tarah Ho," before rotating the camera to catch Ankita's joy and zeal.
Ankita and Vicky, newlyweds, looked stunning during their reception. The actress chose a red Banarasi saree with rani-haar and jhumkas to show off her crimson sindoor and choker neckpiece. South Korean actor Park Seo Joon turns 33 on December 16. After capturing hearts with his performances in the Korean entertainment industry, the Itaewon Class star has now stepped into Hollywood. He will soon make his debut with The Marvels which is set to be released in 2023.
Apart from Korean dramas, the actor also appeared in various critically acclaimed movies. Park Seo Joon also made cameo in the Oscar-winning thriller dramedy Korean film Parasite. Park made his entertainment debut in 2011 by appearing in the music video of Bang Yong Guk's single ‘I Remember’. He then appeared in television dramas Dream High 2 (2012), Pots of Gold (2013), One Warm Word (2013), and more. From October 2013 to April 2015, he was the host of Music Bank.

Wanting to regain control over his life, he asks Oh Ri Jin, a first-year psychiatric resident, to help him, but she eventually falls in love with one of his personalities. Ri Jin’s twin brother, Oh Ri On (Park Seo Joon), a famous mystery novelist, investigates Do Hyeon and his family. Oh Ri On, who could easily have been an invisible character, Park breathed life into the second male lead. Kill Me, Heal Me is another work that proved Park’s potential as a “considerate yet quirky” character.
SHE WAS PRETTY [2015]
Based on a true story, this story is set in the backdrop of a fashion magazine's publishing office. A young girl, Hye Jin was impossibly cute and lived a comfortable life with her wealthy parents. Since entering her teens, both her looks and fortunes have drastically changed. She currently lives rent-free with a friend and is a part-time clerk at a convenience store. Out-of-the-blue, Sung Joon, her childhood friend, contacts her and suggests they meet. He is unaware that Hye Jin recently spotted him and knows how fit and handsome he had become. Not wanting to disappoint him, she insists her pretty best friend go in her place. After landing a full-time job, Hye Jin is surprised to find out that Sung Joon is her boss. To add insult to injury, he is treating her with nothing but disdain and contempt. This is not the friend she fondly remembers, so she goes about hiding her true identity from him.
HWARANG: THE POET WARRIOR YOUTH [2016]
Queen Jiso, as regent, has been the ruler Silla since the death of her father, King Beopheung, while keeping her son, Sammaekjong, hidden from enemies and assassins. Jiso plans to create a new elite group, the Hwarang that will cut across the existing power factions and bind them to protect her son and the throne. As this new elite group of male youths bond and grow, they are unaware that within their number is their King, Sammaekjong (Park Hyung Sik). This was Seo Joon's first time as part of a historical drama. Seo Joon played the role DogBird aka Seon Woo, a young man of low birth who rises above his situation in life to become a legendary Hwarang warrior. In order to survive in the capital, he assumes the identity of his best friend, Kim Sun-Woo, Ah Ro's Original brother, who is killed by one of the queen's officials. Later, he realized he is one of the sacred bones of Silla.
FIGHT FOR MY WAY [2017]
A drama about chasing your dreams, making them come true, fighting the obstacles in the way, getting back up even when hitting bottom, and finally being able to live their dream. Ko Dong Man took part in taekwondo during his school days and dreamed of becoming a famous Taekwondo athlete. However, his dream is shredded into pieces when he loses authority and money and now, makes a living by working as a contract employee. His bickering longtime friend, Choi Ae Ra (Kim Ji Won) hoped to become a television anchor, but she gave up her dream and now works at the information desk of a department store. She continuously goes for job interviews and fights for her way. When the world turns its back on one of them, the other rushes to comfort them.
WHAT’S WRONG WITH SECRETARY KIM [2018]
The series revolves around Lee Young Joon, the vice president of a company that run by his family. He is very self-absorbed and thinks highly of himself; so much that he barely acknowledges the people around him. Lee Young Joon has a capable and patient secretary Kim Mi So (Park Min Young) who has remained by his side and worked diligently for 9 years without any romantic involvement. His world is shaken when, one day secretary Kim Mi So announces that she will resign from her position. Young Joon then decides to do everything to keep her from resigning. Their time together makes them learn about their past traumas which turned out to be the same. Kim Mi So falls in love with Lee Young-Joon as they heal each other.
ITAEWON CLASS [2020]
Based on the webtoon of the same name, the story revolves around Park Sae Ro Yi (played by Park Seo Joon). Due to an accident caused by a high school bully Jang Geun Won, which killed his father, Park Sae Ro Yi attempted to kill him, the son of the Jangga Group's founder but is arrested and received prison time for the violent assault. He decides to destroy the Jangga Company and take revenge against CEO Jang Dae Hee and his son. After his release, Park Sae Ro-Yi opens a restaurant Dambam in Itaewon, Seoul. On this journey, he meets Jo Yi Seo(Kim Da Mi), who is popular on social media, who joins Park Sae Ro Yi’s restaurant and works there as a manager. This begins the journey of revenge, friendships, and more!
Shah Rukh Khan made his return to the public after maintaining a low profile since October when his son Aryan Khan was arrested in a cruise ship drugs bust case. In October end, he received bail after spending 28 days in jail. While family kept mum on the tumultuous time, both Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan made their return to the public eye at different times on December 15.
On Wednesday, the actor made a virtual appearance at a car company's event. The company announced its new brand ambassadors and SRK participated through a video in order to congratulate them. Shah Rukh Khan has been associated with them for a while. He looked beefed up in the video, donning a round-neck T-shirt along with a jacket with his hair tied back.

Priyanka Chopra has joined the Matrix franchise and will play Sati in the upcoming The Matrix Resurrections. Priyanka revealed about Sati's Indian origin and how bits of Indian sarees were included into her costume in a recent interview. his is also Priyanka's first-time spending screen time with Hollywood star Keanu Reeves, and she said that the actor, who is famed for being the "nicest guy in Hollywood," lives up to his moniker in real life.
According to her interview with Access Hollyaood, Priyanka recalled having a difficult day at work when they started filming after the lockdown. Priyanka's first day of filming after over six months of lockdown, and she had a lot of lines to go through in one day, but as the day came to a close, Keanu approached her and gave her a pep talk. “He came up to me and he said, ‘that was a very difficult day and a lot to do, you did such a great job and you should know that,'” she shared.
She added, “When you have a day and you just need someone to tell you that, ‘you were alright, you did it and you were good’. I think he was very astute, he can read the room well and that meant a lot to me, especially as a new kid on the block in the movie.”

B-Town couple Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha tied the knot in Chandigarh on November 15 after 11 long years of dating. The couple got married in a grand affair which was only attended by their family members and close friends.
On Wednesday (15th December 2021) the couple marked their first month wedding anniversary. To celebrate the one month of togetherness, Rajkummar Rao took to his Instagram and made a special post dedicated to Patralekha. The post had a couple of pictures in which the first photo was from their pre-wedding party where both Rajkummar and Patralekha can be seen having a gala time by the pool side and mud. While the other photo is from their wedding day where the couple can be seen smiling at each other.

In the recent episode of Big Boss 15, contestants were given an opportunity to talk to their families through video calls. But it had a twist. Ayan Mukerji's upcoming film Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films. The film which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna, among others was recently wrapped up with a final schedule in Mumbai. The film has already been delayed multiple times and now with theatres having reopened, fans have been eagerly looking forward to the release date announcement of the film.

And now, the makers have a final release date. The film will release on September 9, 2022. It is said to be a three-part franchise starring with the first part coming in 2022. Epic filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali who also composes the music for his films, is all set to release his first independent non-film album. Containing 12 Ghazals sung by various artistes including Papon, Armaan Malik and Bhansali’s discovery Shreya Ghosal, the album Sukoon is, in the filmmaker-composer’s words, his tribute to the Ghazals greats.
Says Bhansali, “I’ve grown up listening to Begum Akhtar, Mehdi Haasan, Ghulam Ali and Jagjit Singh. My album Sukoon is a tribute to all these Ghazal greats. And yet the compositions and the style of singing are not a copy of these greats. This is a young vibrant attempt to make the Ghazal accessible to the millennials. I hope I’ve succeeded.”
Having heard the album, I can vouch for the uniqueness of the sound. The Ghazal has never sounded so young! This is how one felt when Jagjit Singh had broken the mould and shattered all myths about the Ghazal with his 1977 album The Unforgettables.
Visionary that he is, Bhansali has given a new impetus to the Ghazals. The album also introduces veteran singer Suresh Wadkar’s daughter Ananya. She has a voice that makes you listen.
Says Bhansali, “I grew up listening to Lataji. For me she is the epitome of all that is beautiful in this universe. I search for a glimpse of her voice in all my singers, be it Shreya Ghoshal or Ananya Wadekar.”
The 10th installment in the Fast & Furious franchise has now been pushed for summer 2023 release. Filmmaker Justin Lin is directing the penultimate installment of the blockbuster long-running cars-to-spies franchise starring Vin Diesel in the lead role.
The theatrical release date for Fast & Furious 10, the movie’s working title for now, has been pushed back by six weeks from April 7, 2023, the beginning of Easter weekend, to May 19, 2023, Universal said December 14, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Universal already had the May 19 date reserved for an “untitled event” film.
While the studio did not provide a reason for the shifts, Fast & Furious 10 will now open closer to the lucrative Memorial Day corridor. In terms of competition, other event pics dated for early summer 2023 include The Little Mermaid (May 26) and Shazam! Fury of the Gods (June 2). Universal isn’t giving up the Easter slot entirely and, in a twinned move, said that an untitled DreamWorks Animation film will move from March 24, 2023 to April 7, 2023.
The Fast franchise, which began in 2001, has made $6.3 billion globally, with that figure including the 2019 spinoff Hobbs & Shaw. The most recent installment of the core franchise, 2021’s Lin-directed F9, grossed $726.6 million worldwide despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Justin Lin will direct both the 10th and 11th films in the Fast franchise, which will be the conclusion of the core movies. Lin has directed five Fast films beginning with 2006’s The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Vin Diesel and franchise regulars such as Sung Kang, Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Nathalie Emmanuel and Michelle Rodriguez are all expected to return. The mid-credits scene from F9 suggested Jason Statham’s character will play some part too.
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham released exactly 20 years, on December 14, 2001. Starring as many as six actors – Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan – the film was grand in every way. That it was shot in places like Egypt, which was a country then where no other Hindi film was ever filmed, added to the film’s appeal, and also budget. And not to forget, money flowed like water as Karan made the most visually appealing sets and also ensured that his characters donned glamorous and expensive costumes.
In his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’, Karan Johar opened up about the economics of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. To quote him, “The budget at that point, in 2001, was Rs. 50 crore, which is equivalent to today’s 500 crore. No one had ever, in the history of film budgets at least, spent Rs. 50 crore on a feature film when the total remuneration of the cast at that time was 6 crore rupees.”
He added, “Today, if you make the exact same film with the same cast, it’ll be unaffordable and you won’t be able to release it, because there’s no way you can recover that kind of investment.”
Luckily for Karan Johar, despite the high costs, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham emerged as a success. It earned Rs. 55.65 crores at the Indian box office, an insane amount in those times. At that point, it was possibly the third biggest grosser after Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994), which had collected Rs. 72.46 crore, and Gadar – Ek Prem Katha (2001), which earned Rs. 76.88 crore and had released just a few months before Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. In the overseas market, however, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham was miles ahead of Gadar – Ek Prem Katha as it collected a humongous Rs. 42 crore gross outside India.
On Rajeev Masand’s audio show ‘Picture Ke Peeche’, Karan Johar had said, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’s UK (lifetime numbers) was 2.6 million pounds; Dhoom 2’s (2006) (lifetime numbers) were 2.7 million pounds. Nobody has gone beyond these figures all these years.”

He further stated that the so-called "no-brainers" are produced and sold not only in India but all around the world. He went on to say that one would be astonished to learn that OTT somewhere prefers films that are fun, action-packed, and don't need too much thinking.

Bollywood actors Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha got married last month. His mother, Kamlesh Yadav, died in 2016 and his father, Satyapal Yadav, died in 2019. Patralekhaa lost her father in the year 2021.
Rajkummar Rao, who married his long-time fiancée Patralekhaa last month, posted a snapshot of himself looking at images of his late mother and father, as well as Patralekhaa's late father. The photograph was taken at the couple's wedding. "Here's to the ones that we got," Rajkummar captioned the shot with the lyrics from Maroon 5's ‘Memories’. "Cheers to the wish you were here, but you're not." Rajkummar can be seen smiling and glancing at the photos while standing with his arms folded in the black and white snapshot.
Kamlesh Yadav, Rajkummar's mother, died in 2016 while the actor was filming Newton. Rajkummar had paid tribute to his mother on the fifth anniversary of her passing earlier this year. He penned, “It's been 5 years, Maa since you left us, but, there has not even been a single day since, wherein, I haven't felt your presence. Nothing in this world would have been possible for me without your blessings and I know your blessings are still there with me. Nothing in this world would have been possible for me without your blessings and I know your blessings are still there with me. Mothers are the best and there is nothing in this world more valuable than a mother. I see you in every mother out there.”
Satyapal Yadav, his father, died in September of this year. Satyapal, a government employee, died after being taken to the Medanta hospital in Gurugram for 17 days.
Patralekhaa's father passed away this year. Her touching homage to her father read, “I am angry, I am sad, I am at a loss of words... This pain, this grief tearing through every part of me. You just left without saying anything... Papa...I love you. We will always be a part of you and you will always live through us. I hope I can make you proud. Thank you for giving us this wonderful life. You always worked that extra mile so we could have a better life! You were the best father, the best husband.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan says that the character was unapologetic and brazen. "It's truly an iconic film and iconic character. 20 years and people still give so much love to this particular character and 'Poo'. I think it's because we've never seen anybody be so unapologetic and brazen about the things, what she wants to do, what she wants out of life. It was that kind of a happy character," Kareena told Bollywood Hungama in an exclusive interview.
"We were all so young at that time whether it was me, Hrithik Roshan, or Karan Johar. We never thought that this particular character would be so iconic. When you talk about Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, you're like 'OMG Poo!' Nobody thought that this character would become such a big rage. I think it's completely on Karan for writing this part and believing in it and giving me one of the most amazing characters he has probably written," she said.
When asked, during the lockdown, what has she found comfort in, Kareena said, "Apart from watching movies and TV shows, and binge-watching TV shows, I think I just found comfort in getting to spend time with Taimur and Saif. I think, normally, everyone would be rushing to shoot and work and we would get limited time together. But, I think I am cherishing this time we got together as a family."

Deepika Padukone will be seen playing Romi, Kapil Dev's wife.
Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios join hands with Reliance Entertainment to present the Tamil and Telugu versions respectively of the film. Prithviraj’s production and Kichcha Sudeepa’s Shalini Arts are set to present the film in Malayalam and Kannada versions.

A Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures release slated this Christmas on 24th December 2021 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
