Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, Mindy Kaling, Richard Madden, Kunal Nayyar among other international stars urge fans to help India amid COVID-19 crisis India is facing the worse of the second wave of COVID-19. Amid the crisis, many international celebrities have taken up the initiative to help in whatever capacity they can and urged their fans to help India amid the COVID-19. Celebrities such as Katy Perry, Richard Madden, Shawn Mendes, Kunal Nayyar, Lilly Singh, Lana Condor, Ellen DeGeneres, Mindy Kaling, Jada Pinkett Smith, and others have asked to make donations, have donated themselves and are sending essential supplies to India. Shawn Mendes took to social media to share a video urging fans to help India. Hospitals have stopped admitting patients because they are running low on vital supplies and equipment, including oxygen, leaving people to watch loved ones die on stretchers outside the hospital doors.
