BTS WEEK on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is getting better with each passing day. The world's biggest group, that hails from Seoul, South Korea, has been putting up some eye-grabbing performances all the way from their home for the viewers around the world. On their third day on the late-night talk show, BTS played fun games, sat down for a discussion with Jimmy Fallon, and gave a power-packed performance on 'Black Swan'.
Starting with a fun game and showcasing their competitive side, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook played the game of Dance Your Feelings where all of them competed with Jimmy. Didn't it remind the fans of RUN! BTS variety show where all the members are always participating in games?
This was followed by a sit-down conversation with the host about their record-breaking success of their single 'Dynamite', their fans, high school memories, and the upcoming 'BE(Deluxe Edition)' album. Speaking of 'Dynamite' going No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100, Suga said, "We couldn't believe our eyes looking at the chart. It felt like a dream." The members echoed the same sentiments as all of them were in sync to say, 'Is this real?'
When Jimmy reminded Suga that his dream of going to the Grammys had come true, Jimmy further asked what it would mean to have a nomination. RM said, "GRAMMYs are truly the most honorable music awards that evaluate an artist's musical prominence and audience. So we all grew up watching the GRAMMY awards and we especially remember 2009, when T.I., Jay-Z, M.I.A performed. We saw all of them, then perform a presentation of a song of their own. Performing at GRAMMYs it is like our main goal and also a dream that naturally grew within us. Winning a GRAMMY in such difficult times could give great hopes and dreams to many people, including our ARMY!"
"What I really do love about you guys, from working with you and seeing your work, you have a great work ethic, you really are professional, but you're also very funny. You have a great sense of humor. Please don't ever lose that," Jimmy Fallon spoke about how BTS members have not lost their honesty and humour even after becoming such huge stars.
Furthermore, the seven members talked about how their high school experiences were and their responses were quite hilarious.
Lastly, BTS took the center stage all the way from Seoul to perform 'Black Swan' from their record-breaking studio album 'Map Of The Soul: 7'. The grandeur and the magnum opus set was absolutely ethereal as the septet showcased their modern contemporary performance in all-black outfits. The lyrics go, "If this can no longer resonate / No longer make my heart vibrate / Then like this maybe how / I die my first death / But what if that moment's right now / Right now." All in all, BTS flaunted their super tight choreography, incredible synchronization, and more importantly how good they are during their live performances.
Yash Chopra is an enigma, an icon in the Indian film industry. The hailed film-maker has given audiences blockbuster films and was hugely lauded for his progressive style of cinema. His body of work includes cult classics like Daag, Deewar, Lamhe, Silsila, Chandni, Darr, Dil To Pagal Hai, Veer-Zaara, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, to name a few. For those who knew and worked with Yash Chopra, the man behind the legend was equally fascinating.
Mahen Vakil became the first employee of Yash Raj Films when the iconic film-maker started his production house, 50 years back. Mahen’s journey with YRF and Yash ji saw him being promoted to become the Executive Producer of YRF. He unravels the icon, who he says promoted an atmosphere of equality at YRF and on the film sets, a culture that YRF firmly stands by even today under the leadership of Yash ji’s son Aditya Chopra.
Mahen says, “He never compromised on his work! When he would explain any scene to the artist, he would get so involved that you would wish Yash ji would rather perform it himself. His briefing to the actors was so clear and in such great detail that you would get the best performance out from them. Love stories these days are far different than what Yash Chopra used to make. His love stories are simply unparalleled.”
Mahen adds, “His films used to be very expensive because he believed in high technology and did not believe in compromising. What was made in 1965, even today if you look back, his set designs, costumes, etc are unmatchable. For him, the process to making a film was extremely pure. As employees, we were empowered to do what we want to because he trusted us to deliver for him. He left no stone unturned to achieve the scale, to make the film he wanted to make.”
Talking about how Yash Chopra was on the sets, Mahen reveals, “Yashji was full of life! He would consider everyone equal! He used to be there on set 1.5 hours prior to the shift time and would stand with folded hands near the gate and notice what time everyone was entering! It didn’t look nice to enter after the boss has entered, so we would all make it a point to reach earlier. Would you ever see such an atmosphere on today’s set?”
For Mahen, his most favourite Yash Chopra movie is Lamhe, which released in 1991. The incredible film starred Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in lead roles and was about the power of life-changing love. “My personal favourite, any day, is Lamhe! It didn’t work as much because it was ahead of its time and it was not so easily acceptable then but it is a cult film now! Yashji made the movie so wonderfully. He made it with all his heart!” he says.
For someone, who touched the dizzying heights of success, Yash ji was an extremely people’s person. He says, “He was a man with a kind heart! One could hurt him very easily and he was very close to his staff and that created a healthy environment. That’s the reason his staff worked for him for several years.”

The entire team followed all safety precautions and ensured they created the perfect bio-bubble. Vaani says, “We were made to feel safe on the sets because of their commitment to safety and hygiene. I was a bit jittery when I boarded the flight, however, Pooja Entertainment and their team gave me the confidence to keep shooting.”
Vaani is having a hectic year as she is set to immediately start shooting for her next opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. It is a progressive love story being directed by Abhishek Kapoor. A few days ago, a video from the sets a reality show resurfaced where Terence Lewis is seen allegedly touching Nora Fatehi inappropriately. While the duo kept mum until a couple of days ago, Terence Lewis received a lot of hate on social media. Terence took to his Instagram to share a post and Nora Fatehi commented on it.
Terence wrote, ““A Zen Master and his disciples of monks were walking in the Himalayas back to their monastery. On their way to the monastery they had to cross the river Ganga flowing fully though less violently. There was an young beautiful maiden in distress, sitting close to the banks, whose village was just across the river. She was scared to cross the river by herself so she asked the elder monk to help her cross the river. "Sure" said the Zen Master and held her up in his arms. They crossed the river and he let her down gently as she went to her village after thanking the Master. The younger monk wasn't taking this all easily. He looked little worried. The monks came to their monastery after couple of hours of difficult walk in the hills, but the younger monk was still not settled. Sensing it the Guru asked him what the matter was. The young monk said "Master, we have sworn of not touching a woman, but you carried her in your arms, you tell us not to think of women but you touched her" complained the disciple. The Zen Master smiled n replied "I carried her across the river and left her on the other side. Are You Still Carrying Her ? "????????”.
To which, Nora wrote, “Thank you Terrence! In today's time of social media video morphing and photoshop effects for meme purposes.. i'm glad you have not let it bother you and you have remained poised and dignified! This too shall pass you and Geeta mam have been so respectful with me and have made me feel so loved and accepted as a judge on the show, it's been a great life learning experience! Stay blessed” (sic).

Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana is a thought-leader and a youth icon, who has been named as one of the most influential people in the world by TIME magazine for his social impact through cinema. This outstanding feat of the self-made actor, who has etched his name in the history of Indian cinema with his progressive, social entertainers, has made his college professor, Archana R. Singh, incredibly proud.
Prof. Archana R. Singh writes a blog which is aimed at her students and faculty and she has hailed Ayushmann’s TIME 100 inclusion in an article dedicated on him. Titled ‘What is success made of? Looking back at our own superstar Ayushmann’s tenure at SCS!’ (School of Communication Studies), Archana says, “Most important lesson is find humility in success. I remember the time when I had taken the whole class for a study tour of Delhi and we were visiting different media organisations. We had with us the fresh winner of Roadies and I was yet unaware of his new found popularity amongst the young crowd. As we passed a couple of girls in the corridors of Doordarshan Kendra, I overheard one of them whispering, “Look, that’s Ayushmann!” I was taken by surprise! I asked him, how do they know you? He simply flashed his dimpled smile and replied, “Ma’am, it’s the show. It’s very popular.”
She adds, “The second lesson here is that wear your success lightly. Even now Ayushmann always sends Teacher’s Day wishes, responds to every request I make such as to promote our School’s media fest, send video messages for his juniors, visit the department whenever possible, and play the guitar for us, record messages for Panjab University’s Community Radio Jyotirgamaya, whatever! He has never refused. This humility is his appealing quality. He is reaching for the stars but keeping his feet on the ground. This behaviour is appealing to his colleagues and some may call it good PR but I would call it character.”

Currently, with the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) investigating the consumption of illegal narcotic substances by Bollywood celebs, several have been discussing the legalisation of certain drugs which are used for medicinal purposes.
Last week, actress Shraddha Kapoor was summoned by the NCB after they found out during their investigation that the actress had ordered CBD oil. The actress during her questioning admitted to ordering it but said that it was for medicinal purposes.
Recently actor Meera Chopra tweeted, "“Just asking, how is cbd oil freely available online if its illegal. I checked its avaialble on amazon too. Why no regulation if its illegal? #cbdoil.”
Earlier actress Rhea Chakraborty was arrested for procuring drugs. In the past few days, Bollywood celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh were questioned by the agency.

Knowing that the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 13 was on September 29, the fans decided to celebrate one year of SidNaaz by sending across cakes to mark the big day. As much as they appreciated the love that came their way, Shehnaaz couldn’t help but make an ardent request to her fans.
She took to her Instagram story to ask her fans not to send across cakes and gifts but shower their love and prayers instead. This is not the first time that Shehnaaz has asked her fans not to send across gifts or spend money on her in general. A couple of months ago, Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla’s live session on Instagram went viral in no time for all the right reasons.
