On Saturday, Mahira had taken to her Instagram story to share a picture of an award for the Most fashionable contestant of Bigg Boss 13. Later, Mahira Sharma took to her Instagram handle to issue a clarification on the matter. She said that the charges made against her for receiving and forging the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival 2020 are untrue and totally uncalled for. She further went on to clarify with her version of the event. She said that she was approached by Mr Premal Mehta from Purple Fox Media along with Yash Naik who is an artiste manager for the said award show. (@officialmahirasharma) on Feb 24, 2020 at 4:08am PST "At the event, the team of Bigg Boss 13 was called on stage and gratified with a token of appreciation. On questioning about my solo award by my manager to Mr Mehta, he handed over the award to my manager stating that I cannot be called on stage owing to the huge hue and rush on stage. I did my media bytes at the event and later had put a social media story (on my personal Instagram account) to express my love and gratitude. Little did I know this would turn against me within two days," she wrote in her statement. However, the organizers were not too happy with the statement issued by Mahira. In response to Mahira's statement, the organizers in an elaborate statement said that the award was not issued by the DPIFF team or any person associated by the event. DPIFF shared a note on social media saying, “Ms. Mahira, We hereby present the required facts on the matter. We further await for your apology as we don’t want to drag this further and close it on a good note!”   View this post on Instagram   Ms. Mahira, We hereby present the required facts on the matter.
