After wrapping up Shoojit Sircar's Sardar Udham Singh, Vicky Kaushal has kick-started his year with the prep of Karan Johar's Takht. The actor was seen learning horse riding on Wednesday at the Mumbai racecourse.
Vicky Kaushal shared a couple of photographs and video on Instagram stories where he was seen taking horse riding lessons with his trainer too in the background. Dressed in athleisure gear, the actor was seen training early in the morning. Post the training, he even fed food to the horse.
Takht is set in the Mughal era and will showcase the story of two warring brothers Aurangzeb and Dara Shikoh. It will be based on the war between Shah Jahan’s son Aurangzeb played by Vicky Kaushal and elder brother Dara Shikoh played by Ranveer Singh. Kareena Kapoor Khan will essay the role of Aurangzeb’s sister and the first lady of the Mughal Empire, Jahanara Begum. Anil Kapoor will be reportedly starring as Shah Jahan.
Takht was supposed to hit theatres in 2020 but it seems unlikely now. The filming should begin in February next month.
