Legendary actor Dilip Kumar honoured by the World Book of Records, London Actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, on Tuesday, took to Twitter to announce that legendary actor Dilip Kumar has been honoured by the World Book of Records, London, for his unmatched contribution to Indian cinema. While the actor himself could not collect the award and the certificate himself, his wife Saira Banu, brother Aslam Khan, and his sisters Saeeda Khan and Farida Khan did it on his behalf. Last seen in Qila in 1998 alongside Rekha, the actor has fallen unwell a number of times in the last few years, but has gotten back to the pink of health every time. He recently also tweeted, expressing his elation after singer Lata Mangeshkar, after spending a month at the hospital, returned home recovered.
